We’re a well-regarded NHS GP Surgery located alongside the River Thames in the bustling village of Pangbourne, near the outskirts of Reading, Berkshire. We’re looking to recruit a part time medical receptionists to join our friendly team. There will be a standard working pattern, below, with some flexibility required during periods of colleagues leave.
Monday 8 – 5:30 (1 hour lunch)
Tuesday 8 – 1
Thursday 8 - 5 (1 hour lunch)
Friday 14:30 - 18:30
In addition to this, you will be required to work the occasional Saturday (one or two a year), on a rota basis with the rest of the team. This will be paid as overtime at an enhanced rate.
The work is extremely varied requiring a calm and meticulous approach. You must have excellent communication and keyboard skills and an ability to work well under pressure. Full training will be given to enable you to carry out your role efficiently. However, experience working in a reception or clinical environment would be an advantage.
