Medical Reception Care Navigator
An opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our busy, supportive friendly team. The role will be to provide administrative support to the clinical team, assist patients with queries, ensure efficient use of the appointment booking system, processing patient data, action new patient registrations. You will signpost patients to the necessary service, liaising with local services and secondary care.
Reception is the central contact point of the surgery, responsibilities include providing a professional, positive and friendly image. You will be able to distribute enquiries, both clinical and non-clinical amongst the team. You will be able to remain calm working efficiently under pressure.Teamwork and effective communication is essential. You will need to be proactive and use initiative, flexible, with good IT skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
Previous experience of working in a GP Surgery or the NHS would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be required to partake and complete ongoing mandatary training and complete a DBS check.
