DKM Sheet Metal are a forward thinking company who are looking for a: Mechanical Assembler
The position would ideally suit someone with a flexible attitude to work and a desire to add to their existing skills set. The role will include the full assembly of sheet metal parts pre and post paint
An element of guaranteed overtime been included within the salary package
Required skills/ qualifications:
- Good ability to work quickly and diligently.
- Follow work orders, ability to read production drawings and sample assemblies to ensure items are assembled correctly
- Confident with use of hand held mechanical tools for assembling components.
- Self-motivated and able to work individually and as part of a team
- A positive hands-on approach with previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a safe manner following health, safety, environment and quality guidelines and instructions
- Report on stock levels as required
- Packaging and dispatch of products as required
- Checking and reporting goods in as required
- Comprehensive product training to be given.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Good team player, but equally able to manage and prioritise their own workload
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £32,500.00 per year
