Able Tutors is a well-renowned and busy tutoring agency based in London. At the moment we are looking for experienced tutors to teach GCSE/KS3/KS2 Maths/English/Science, in-person, in Southend-on-Sea.
***This role needs to be filled urgently as we have jobs that need to be filled***
This is a face-to-face position and will involve you teaching on a 1-2-1 basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- at least ONE year of recent experience teaching Maths/English/Science (in this country)
- based in the UK
- able to travel to the location advertised
- have a relevant degree
- enhanced DBS clearance or be willing to apply
- be able to work during and/or after school hours and/or at weekends
- be able to provide two UK based references (parents of recent tutees/professional colleagues)
- The pay is dependent on qualifications and tuition level required
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in Maths, English, and Science tailored to individual student needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster a supportive and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with educational best practices and curriculum changes.
