Your Next Role: Maths Tutor (Leeds & Forging Futures)

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and energetic Maths Tutor who’s ready to make learning fun, relevant, and confidence-boosting! You’ll be delivering Functional Skills Maths to our Employability and Constuction students at our shiny new Leeds Training Centre and working with learners with additional needs at Forging Futures – helping them build confidence, independence, and real-world skills. Every day, you’ll be making a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create sessions that bring maths to life and keep learners motivated from start to finish. Think fun, practical, and full of lightbulb moments!

  • Assess & Support Progress: Mark work, give positive and constructive feedback, and set clear goals that help learners smash their targets.

  • Shape the Curriculum: Help us keep things fresh and industry-relevant — your ideas are welcome here!

  • Be a Learning Hero: Support learners through challenges, boost their confidence, and cheer them on to success.

  • Keep Track Like a Pro: Record attendance, progress, and assessments accurately (we love an organised spreadsheet ).

  • Team Up: Collaborate with awesome colleagues and employers to deliver the best learner experience possible.

  • Keep Learning: Stay sharp through regular CPD and keep your teaching game strong.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience teaching Maths or Functional Skills (you know your fractions from your formulas)

  • A passion for helping others learn and grow

  • Excellent communication and people skills — you’ve got the gift of engagement

  • Confident with IT – whether it's online delivery or managing learner records
