We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 & KS2 English & Maths Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching foundational English and Maths skills to young learners, ensuring they develop essential competencies while promoting a love for learning.
Duties
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in English and Maths tailored to the needs of KS1 and KS2 students.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and participate in staff meetings.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding student performance and any concerns.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration of language and mathematics.
Requirements
- Strong behaviour management skills to effectively handle diverse classroom dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
