Are you a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher looking for an opportunity to genuinely impact learners' lives? Reynolds Training Academy in Dartford, Kent, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time GCSE and Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join our supportive and inclusive team.

About the Role
This is an exciting chance to work with very small cohorts, allowing you to provide focused, nurturing support to help learners achieve their academic goals and unlock their full potential in Maths. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging teaching, learning, and assessments, ensuring our learners have the best possible chance of achieving pass grades in both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Proven experience and results teaching both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- A UK Teaching Qualification (e.g., DET, DTTLS, PGCE).
- Outstanding subject knowledge coupled with strong communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency with Word and Excel.
- A desirable UK Assessors Qualification (e.g., A1) or a UK Internal Quality Assurance Qualification (e.g., V1) would be a bonus!
Key Responsibilities
As our Maths Tutor, you will:
- Design and deliver innovative teaching and assessment strategies tailored to diverse learner needs.
- Actively monitor and track learner progress and attendance.
- Ensure lessons promote equality, diversity, British Values, and Prevent to foster an inclusive environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Maths curriculum.
- Engage in ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
