About Us
We are a friendly and supportive tuition centre dedicated to helping learners achieve their best in Maths, English, and Science. Our small-group sessions (maximum 5–6 students) provide the perfect environment for personalised teaching, helping students grow in confidence and achieve academic success.
Role Overview
As a Tutor, you will:
- Teach Maths, English, and/or Science to Primary and Secondary learners (up to GCSE)
- Deliver engaging, structured lessons in small groups
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs
- Track progress and provide constructive feedback to parents
- Use our ready-made resources to reduce planning time
Duties
- Plan and deliver personalised sessions in your specialist subject(s)
- Assess learners’ starting points and monitor progress
- Complete registers and brief progress reports
- Create a safe, positive, and inspiring learning environment
- Contribute to learners’ confidence and long-term success
Essential Criteria
- Degree-level education (essential)
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English and/or Science (up to GCSE level)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching or tutoring young people
- Professional, reliable, and well-organised
- Eligible to work in the UK
Desirable (not essential):
- QTS or recognised teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
- Previous tutoring centre/classroom teaching experience
