Job Overview:
We are a CNC machining workshop, seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, stack, and count stock. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our warehouse operations.
Included in this role will be:
-unloading and loading Pallet deliveries and 6 meter steel tubes
- Booking in goods once received.
-using automated cutting machinery (CNC bandsaw) ( training provided)
-loading cut parts in to a pipe Crimping machine ( training provided )
-driving works van on short trips occasionally ( driving licence is a must)
-this role is mainly a material handling role, there will only be occasional forklift driving
-picking and packing is a large part of this role
Skills:
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Hours are:
Monday to Thursday 8 am to 5 pm
Friday 8am to 12.30 pm ( half day)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
