The Opportunity
We are seeking a Construction Material Technician to join our dynamic team at our site in Astley. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and integrity of construction materials, ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards. If you're passionate about construction materials and eager to make a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you. The job is Monday to Friday 7AM till 4PM
Key Responsibilities of a Construction Material Technician
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports on material performance and provide recommendations based on data findings.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of material testing protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot material-related issues and provide technical support.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications for a Construction Material Technician
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relating to construction materials is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
