Delivery Programme – Connect to Work
Subject to contract award, Connect to Work will support Lancashire residents facing barriers to employment, including those with disabilities, health conditions or other challenges. This new government-funded programme, part of the national Get Britain Working strategy, will offer personalised one-to-one guidance from Employment Specialists, rapid job search and sustained in-work support. Participants will benefit from vocational profiling, skills development, access to training and help with workplace adjustments. We will work closely with employers to create inclusive opportunities, ensuring roles match individual strengths and aspirations.
Our community-based approach will build trust, remove barriers and help people secure and thrive in meaningful long-term employment.
Use Your Creativity To Connect People With Opportunity!
As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll bring the Connect to Work programme to life - raising awareness, generating leads, and helping people with health conditions or disabilities take their first step toward meaningful employment.
You’ll work closely with delivery teams to create inclusive campaigns, manage digital channels, design accessible materials and nurture warm referrals. Whether you’re writing copy, running paid ads, or supporting stakeholders — your work will open doors and change lives.
Location/travel: This contract will be carried out in: Blackburn, Darwin, Burnley, Pendle & Ribble Valley, therefore the ability to travel across this patch is essential.
Salary: £28,000-£32,000
What You’ll Do:
- Create engaging content across social, email, and print to promote the programme
- Manage warm referral leads and help turn interest into action
- Run and optimise paid social campaigns (e.g. Meta) to reach more people
- Design branded materials that are clear, inclusive, and accessible
- Track marketing performance and share insights to improve engagement
- Promote the service through community and stakeholder comms
Your Skills & Experience:
- Have the ability to embrace our company values which are Kindness, Respect, Integrity, and Innovation!
- Experience in marketing, comms, or outreach (ideally in a social impact setting)
- Confident with tools like Canva, WhatsApp, Mailchimp, and Meta Ads
- Strong copywriting skills and a passion for inclusive messaging
- Organised, proactive, and full of creative ideas
- A genuine belief in social value, accessibility, and reaching those who need it most
