MARKETING ASSISTANT
Reporting to: Marketing Executive and New Homes Manager
Hours Per Week: 20 hours per week
Job Purpose:
As Marketing Assistant at Marchand Petit, based full-time at Head Office in Kingsbridge, you will work closely with the managing director to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our agency's services and properties. Your role will involve creating engaging marketing materials, managing online and offline marketing campaigns, planning and attending events, and assisting with all other marketing requirements for both the business and its clients. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a broad understanding of digital marketing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
· Collaborate with the Marketing and New Homes teams to create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals and budgets
· Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, print, and social media.
· Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide insights to optimize marketing efforts.
2. Content Creation:
· Create compelling and engaging content for marketing materials including brochures, social media posts, direct mailers and email campaigns.
· Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and quality of content across all marketing channels.
3. Online Presence and Digital Marketing:
· Manage the agency's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and property listing websites.
· Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and drive website traffic.
· Implement and analyse PPC campaigns
· Implement SEO strategies in partnership with an external content agency
4. Market Research and Analysis:
· Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitor activities.
· Assist in preparing market reports and presentations to support decision-making processes.
5. Branding and Promotions:
· Assist in maintaining and strengthening the agency's brand identity and image.
· Coordinate with external vendors, such as designers, content agencies and printers, to produce marketing materials.
6. Events and Networking:
· Assist in organising and participating in events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote the agency and build industry connections.
· Represent the agency in a professional and engaging manner at local and industry-related events.
7. Marketing Administration:
· Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, expenses, and campaign results.
· Assist in budgeting, invoice processing, and tracking marketing expenditures.
· Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and execution of marketing initiatives.
8. Continuous Learning and Industry Awareness:
· Stay updated on industry trends, marketing techniques, and best practices in property marketing.
· Continuously expand knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in marketing. Experience in the property industry is preferable, but not a necessity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of SEO, PPC, social media, and analytics tools.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative marketing ideas with consideration for budgets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal managers and external agencies
- Willingness to attend local events during weekends on occasion.
