The Role
The role is based on supporting the Meditech sales, marketing and business development team.
The role will be split into two. 75% of the week will be spent supporting the sales team and our international partners with quotations, questions and marketing campaigns and 25% will spent in the marketing department. This will include the production of marketing materials, website, videos and social media.
We work directly with end user customers in the UK and through distributors across the world. This is an ideal first role for someone looking for a career in sales and marketing.
Key Tasks
- Assist the sales director with partner and end customer sales activity
- Following up sales and business development opportunities
- Preparation of quotes and proposals
- Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content and brochures
- Upload material to the website & social media pages
- Assisting other areas of the business such as pre-sales and technical services

- Ability to learn and understand about our product range, our sales process and marketing activities
- Able to build relationships with a wide variety of people
- Excellent written and oral skills - You will have to regularly deal with clients and suppliers on the phone, by email and sometimes face to face
- Personable manner, team-player and adaptability are all important
- Attention to detail – required for proof-reading marketing posts, website content and emails
- IT skills: You will need proficiency in MS Office packages and, ideally, in graphic tools such as Adobe, Publisher and video editing software.
- Organisational skills: you will be working on multiple projects and need to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Relevant Experience & Qualifications
- Ideally degree-level qualified in a related area to sales or marketing (but not essential)
- Some experience of working in an office
- Some work experience in marketing is desirable
- Demonstrable knowledge of social media channels such as LinkedIn
- Experience of website content management systems e.g., Wordpress (but not essential)
Location & hours
- This is a full-time, office-based position available immediately based at our factory in Halstead, Essex.
- Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:45am – 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm.
- There will be opportunity for paid overtime during busy periods if of interest
