Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team in various initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing strategies. This role involves assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, and performing market analysis to enhance our B2B marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Manage social media accounts, creating engaging content to increase brand awareness.
- Conduct SEO analysis to optimise website content and improve search engine rankings.
- Utilise Google Ads for paid advertising campaigns, monitoring performance and making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate on project management tasks to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Photoshop for promotional purposes.
- Maintain the company website using WordPress, ensuring content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Analyse data from Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Support email marketing campaigns by crafting compelling copy and managing distribution lists.
- Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to present findings and insights to the team.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to foster collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a marketing role or relevant internship is preferred.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead projects effectively.
- Proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, and social media management tools.
- Excellent copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Analytics.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing principles is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
