We will soon be opening a brand new manufacturing facility creating a unique product aimed at the construction industry. As we look to build our team we are looking for a small number of talented, results driven individuals to join our team and help us launch.
As a Manufacturing Team Member you will play a key role in operating the production line making our ground breaking product.
Whilst previous experience and skills are of interest to us, the most important qualities we are looking for are reliability, flexibility and the drive to help the team succeed. As this is a start-up environment it will be important to demonstrate a "can do" approach to whatever issues present themselves.
Key Duties:
- Working in busy, high volume manufacturing environment
- Capable of carrying out standard tasks in the production/warehouse environment after training
- Follow instructions to complete repetitive tasks in the time allowed to a good quality standard
- Adhering to strict Health and Safety Regulations.
- Act as a member of the team
- Participate in improvement activities
- Work efficiently with a key focus on quality and throughput KPI
- Demonstrate flexibility to carry out whatever task the team needs to be successful
- Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Ability to work with others in a team and also under direction
- Ability to meet KPI's with little or no supervision
- High attention to detail and quick learner
- Hardworking, flexible and reliable and comfortable taking on any reasonable task
- Ability to work under pressure
Personal Specifications:
Qualifications & Training
- Numerically competent
- Good verbal communication skills
Experience
- Previous experience of working in a high-volume production environment is preferred but is not essential, a “can do” approach to work is paramount. As this is a start-up business, we are looking to build a team that will take us forward together.
