Job description
Role – Manufacturing Team Member
Salary - £26,739 + up to 30% shift allowance
Location - Teesside - Lackenby Works, Middlesbrough, TS6 7RP

As part of a proactive manufacturing team, you will contribute to achieving production targets while upholding the highest standards of health and safety. Safety is our top priority, and you will undergo thorough training to ensure you have the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a secure working environment.
Your role will involve a variety of manufacturing operational tasks, including:
- Operating cranes (pendant, remote, and cab-controlled overhead)
- Machine and process operation
- Handling and moving materials (slinging, lifting, and forklift driving)
- Generating paperwork using company IT systems
- HGV driving
- Manual handling

What we need to know about you
We are seeking highly motivated, flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our diverse teams at the Teesside Beam Mill. These roles operate on a shift-based schedule, including weekend work, so applicants must be at least 18 years old to meet legal requirements for shift working.
To be eligible, you must have:
- GCSEs at grade C (4) or above in English and Maths
- Strong IT skills (beneficial but not essential)
- A full and valid driving licence (motorbike or car), as this is required for mobile plant training
Previous experience working with mobile plant would be advantageous. We are looking for team players with excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a strong drive to succeed.
