The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Sunday 0800 - 20:00 flexible extended working day - Both full and part time permanent posts available

We are looking for motivated radiographers to join our team at the West of Scotland Breast Screening Service.
The West of Scotland Breast Screening Service (WSBSS) offers mammography screening to 315,000 women on a three - yearly cycle either at the static centre or on one of seven mobile units. Between 4% and 5% of women screened are then invited for further assessment to review clinics held in the static centre in Glasgow.
The geographical area covered by WSBSS includes Greater Glasgow, Argyll and Clyde, Lanarkshire and West Forth Valley Health Boards. . As a mammographer, your main responsibility will be to carry out mammography screening x-ray examinations and provide direct care for women attending mobile units and/or the static centre.
At the static centre you will also undertake additional specialised x-ray procedures and participate in interventional Radiological techniques on women returning for further investigation at review clinics. You also will be required to supervise and take part in the training of students and/or junior staff.
Requirements for the post are:-
- HCPC Registration
- BSc (hons) Degree in Radiography or equivalent
- Post-Graduate Certificate in Mammography or equivalent
- Full Driving Licence
- Access to Car (car leasing may be possible)
