Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various maintenance disciplines. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, joinery, and basic electrical work
- Conduct regular safety checks and inspections (e.g. fire alarms, emergency lighting, water temperature)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or team members.
- Document maintenance activities and report on the condition of equipment regularly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role (preferred)
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis, including occasional weekends or evenings
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 7 per week
