Maintenance Officer required for a small residential Care home in Betley, Nr Crewe.
Doddlespool Hall is a 17th century home, and is in the process of being beautifully renovated and updated.
We are looking at employing an experienced Maintenance Officer to manage health and safety compliance, and general maintenance work within the home.
The position is for 30 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days, which can be flexible.
Experience in either a professional capacity, or a keen DIYer is preferable. Attention to detail is a must, and applicants must have some degree of flexibility in order to fit in with current maintenance programme and contractors working within the home.
Job entails health and safety compliance, completing maintenance records, renovating rooms, assisting with maintenance programme, painting and decorating (including wallpapering), and other renovation jobs within the home, whilst at the same time liaising with contractors regarding other major works.
There may be opportunities for overtime as required, depending on work schedules, and the possibility of more hours may be available to the right candidate.
