Join our team at The Devil's Punchbowl Hotel, a charming, family-run hotel nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help us maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our guests. This role suits someone with experience in commercial cleaning and customer service—and ideally, a flair for basic cooking.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks according to schedule, ensuring all guest and communal areas are spotless
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to uphold hotel standards
- Dust and sanitize surfaces to maintain a fresh and inviting atmosphere
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and kitchen areas to the highest hygiene standards
- Manage waste disposal safely and efficiently
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Friendly and approachable, with good customer service skills
- Bonus: Basic cooking experience or willingness to assist in the kitchen
