Overview
We are currently recruiting a Live-In Carer to support a client in Swaffham. You will live with the client during your shift and provide round-the-clock care and companionship. The client requires support with daily living tasks, personal care, medication, mobility, and general companionship.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in care (live-in or domiciliary) is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
