Weekend Live-In Carer – Companionship & Light Household Support
Brentwood, Essex
We are looking for a kind and dependable live-in carer to support a gentleman in his 70s who lives independently in his own home. This is primarily a companionship-based role, with some help around the house to keep things running smoothly.
Shift:
- From Friday lunchtime to Monday lunchtime
- Ideally every weekend, but open to every other weekend for the right person
About the Role:
Our client enjoys a calm home environment, watching sports and old comedy shows. He is looking for someone to provide company and light support, including:
- Cooking simple meals
- General cleaning and tidying
- Laundry, washing and ironing
- Taking him out for a short walk (weather and health permitting)
- Occasional assistance with daily routines (minimal personal care)
Accommodation:
- Private, comfortable bedroom
- All meals and utilities included during your stay
Ideal Candidate:
- Friendly, engaging, and trustworthy
- Able to cook basic meals and maintain a tidy home
- Enjoys chatting, going for walks, and offering companionship
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Confident working independently and creating a warm, supportive atmosphere
