About the role
The Care worker will be living with the Service User in the Service Users own home nationwide in the UK, from 2 weeks up to long term. The hours are roughly 10 hours care per day with 2 hours break daily for the staff member to have their own time. Also weekly regular breaks are provided.
As it is 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, we are unable to offer part time hours and unable to support with sponsorships or Switched sponsorships.
We currently have a vacancy for a care worker to provide live in care for a gentleman in Cardiff who is in his early 70swith Parkinson's and onset Dementia.The gentleman likes reading, going for walks and socializing. The role is to promote the gentlemans independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care,
Requirements;
We are looking for someone with previous care experience ideally at least 6 months and live in care experience. Comprehensive training will be provided. This role is supported by our Community Lead nurses, who offer training and support throughout.
The ideal candidate will be a caring and trustworthy person, who is able to support people in their own home with day to day living including personal care, support with medication and household tasks. They will be able to support with appointments and support in the community.
The ideal candidate will be able to follow and support with Person centred plans and amend when needed. They will also be able to support family members if needed and be able to communicate effectively with Family members.

We provide full support and guidance from our experienced Live in care team, who are available to speak to when needed.

The monthly rates of pay vary depending on the Service users requirements, this varies from 3,438.40 and 4,813.76 before tax and self employed Care Workers are also welcome.
