Approved Care and Support are a private home care provider in Shropshire for 8 years. Our head office is based in Oswestry. We are built on many years’ of experience and are passionate about providing a quality service. We are now recruiting in Shrewsbury, to cover the SY1, SY2 , SY3 and SY4 areas.
Our amazing team of care workers make a difference to the lives of others on a daily basis, bringing a smile to the faces of our customers. They support people to remain in their own homes, helping them to stay as independent as possible.

We pay from £12.21 per hour, plus travel time.
Job Requirements
Previous experience as a care worker or similar role is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
- A positive welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of care.
- Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, there are full-time and part time, evening and weekend positions available.
- A genuine caring nature, empathy and a positive attitude is required for this position.

Responsibilities for Care Worker
- Dressing and undressing
- Washing/bathing/showering/ shaving/cleaning teeth
- Toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene
- Administration of Medication
- Getting in and out of bed
- Food preparation
- General cleaning duties
- Shopping
- All requirements needed to live a health independent life.
