We are looking to employ a Public Lighting Supervisor within the Highways Service, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of Public Lighting electrician and operational staff. This will include all supervisory functions, programming of work, dealing with agency staff, contractors and stakeholders and checking on the quality of the work and ensuring the programme is effective and efficient.

The ideal candidate should hold an appropriate technical approved and recognised qualification e.g. C & G 2360 Electrical Installations, minimum level of Part 2, a proven record of supervising staff and budgets, be self-motivated and able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Highways Public lighting works and associated road works. The post holder must be confident in dealing with councillors and the Public.

This role is a permanent position working 37hrs a week.
