Job Title: Leasing Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Leasing Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leasing residential or commercial properties, maintaining positive relationships with prospective and current tenants, and contributing to high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing & Sales
- Conduct property tours with prospective tenants.
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Present leasing terms and close sales to meet occupancy goals.
- Prepare and process lease applications, agreements, and renewals.
- Stay informed about market trends, rental rates, and competitor offerings.
Customer Service
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and prospects.
- Address questions and resolve concerns to ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Represent the company and property professionally at all times.
- Marketing
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media postings, advertisements, and events.
- Ensure vacant units are clean, staged, and market-ready.
- Collaborate with property management and marketing teams to generate leads.
Administrative
- Maintain accurate records of leads, lease applications, and tenant files.
- Follow up consistently with leads and prospects.
- Support lease renewal efforts and retention initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong sales aptitude and closing skills.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
- Familiarity with leasing software (Yardi, MRI, Entrata, or similar) is a plus.
