Role overview:
We are looking for a Learner Success Advisor to support the growth of Tes Institute’s accredited, high-demand teacher training programmes by driving leads and conversions from both inbound and outbound channels.
The successful candidate will proactively build a pipeline of opportunities, engage with learners across the education landscape—from teaching assistants to senior leaders—and deliver a high-quality, consultative service leading to formal programme enrolments.
Reporting to the Tes Institute Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone commercially driven, with excellent rapport-building skills and a passion for supporting learners into the right professional training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact learners (inbound and outbound) to recommend appropriate training programmes and secure their commitment
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across multiple outbound lead channels (e.g., LinkedIn, email, referrals, forums)
- Achieve and exceed KPIs related to lead generation, conversion, revenue and productivity
- Maximise time spent engaging new potential learners and ensure exceptional learner service quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless learner journey and satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell while championing the Tes brand
- Maintain strong learner relationships and deliver consistent messaging about Tes Institute’s value and programmes
- Proven experience in a Sales Advisor or similar role with both inbound and outbound engagement
- Self-motivated, target-driven and confident working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong consultative approach to identify learner needs and match them with relevant solutions
- Track record of achieving or exceeding KPIs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage your own time and opportunities effectively with high levels of organisation and accountability
- Desirable: Knowledge of the UK and British International Schools market and/or teacher training qualifications
