Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential business leads, primarily through B2B sales efforts. This new position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and plays a critical role in both identifying new sales opportunities and supporting the day-to-day delivery of marketing activities.
You’ll be responsible for generating qualified leads through outbound calls, supporting marketing campaigns, maintaining CRM records and assisting with events. This is a varied and rewarding role ideal for someone who enjoys both people-focused and process-driven work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone and email
- Research companies and key decision-making contacts to identify potential B2B customers in key sectors such as agriculture, wastewater, construction and events, as well as new sectors
- Qualify and nurture inbound and outbound leads through discovery calls and effective questioning
- Book appointments and demos for internal sales team and external business development team
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of leads and outreach activity in the CRM system
- Support at trade shows to generate leads
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to better position our offerings in the market.
Experience
- Proven experience in a lead generation, telemarketing or business development role
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner and written communication skills
- Highly organised, reliable and capable of managing multiple tasks at once
- Motivated by results and eager to meet outreach targets
- Strong attention to detail with good CRM and admin skills (HubSpot experience is a desired but not essential)
- A team player with a willingness to learn and grow into new responsibilities
- An interest in industrial products or technical markets is a plus, but not essential
