Who are we?
Cotswold Tiger Laundry was the brainchild of Edward Grierson, Founder of Cotswold Tiger.
Unable to find a laundry service that delivered what his business and his customers expected, he established an in-house laundry service as part of the Cotswold Tiger Property Management offering.
It turned out Edward wasn’t the only person looking for a different kind of service, and so in March 2022 Cotswold Tiger Laundry opened its doors the public.
Over the last three years we have established our reputation and developed an exciting and varied customer list offering a niche service to a particular market segment.
We are currently recruiting for a Laundry Assistant who could also undertake part-time Housekeeping, if agreeable.
We would also consider splitting the job, so if you are only interested in housekeeping, or would like to be solely laundry based, please still apply detailing your preference. Full-time hours are only available as a combination of both roles.
The Role
Laundry Assistant -
- Working in a small team to process customers laundry
- Use commercial machinery to wash, dry & press laundry
- Some customer communication and interaction (answering phone / front desk)
- Start / end of day cleaning and daily checks.
Housekeeper –
- Working both independently and as part of a team to clean Client properties to the highest standards
- Field based travelling to properties which form part of the company portfolio.
- Interact with property owners to establish individual preferences and needs
Essential -
- Physically fit and able to lift & carry laundry hampers (up to 20kg)
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent eye for detail
- Team player & collaborative
- Good time keeping and reliable
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Driving Licence & comfortable driving a Transit van
Desirable -
- Experience within the laundry industry and/or housekeeping

Cotswold Tiger Laundry is based on the Notgrove Estate. The roles is a combination of site and field based and therefore the ability to drive with access to a vehicle are essential.
Package
- £13.12 p/h
- 16 – 40 hours per week, depending on final scope of role.
- Permanent
- Weekdays / hours in agreement - no weekend working
- Optional overtime during busy periods.
