Labourer/ yardman
Rate of Pay: £10.00 to £12.21 Depending on Age
This vacancy is temporary at present
- Outside work / labouring necessary – directing customers to correct area etc if required. Help unload small loads brought in if needed during busy periods
- Driving licence would be an advantage but not essential
- Hours: 39 Monday – Thursday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm and Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm
Summary
In the role of Labourer/Yard Person, you will be essential in maintaining a well-organized and efficient yard environment. Reporting to the weighbridge supervisor, your responsibilities will include handling materials, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The position requires core skills in manual handling and organisation. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will significantly contribute to the smooth operation of our yard activities.
