Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Remove waste and rubbish from the kitchen area regularly.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as needed.
- Help with stock rotation and organisation of supplies to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
