Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs, ensuring that ingredients are ready for cooking and serving.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organised, including storage areas and work surfaces.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring that food items are stored correctly to maintain freshness.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings will be considered an asset.
- A passion for food and a desire to develop culinary skills within a supportive team atmosphere is essential.
