We are currently seeking a diligent Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling pub kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, supporting the culinary team in food preparation tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of chefs.
- Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining hygiene standards and following health and safety regulations.
- Helping with stock rotation and storage of ingredients.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is desirable.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist where needed.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.
