Summary
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at Borgo in Sheffield. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team can focus on delivering exceptional dishes.
Responsibilities
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including washing dishes and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
- Help manage inventory by keeping track of supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where required.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
