We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently within designated routes. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Valid <PERSON> driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving is an advantage.
- Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate using GPS systems.
- Warehouse experience is beneficial for assisting with loading and unloading tasks.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries.
