Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our excellent kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This position requires a strong foundation in food preparation and kitchen operations, making it ideal for those with a background in the culinary arts or restaurant industry. Hours: Part Time & Full Time Hours Available. Guaranteed Christmas Day & Boxing Day off.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of new techniques.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
- Strong food preparation skills, with an understanding of cooking techniques and meal presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Culinary experience or formal training in cooking is an advantage but not mandatory as full training will be given.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
