Riverside Care Home are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food preparation cooking and baking.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes and bake cakes.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
- Assist in serving meals when required.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation cooking baking within a care home.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Previous care home experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a passion for cooking and baking.
