We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Support cooks with tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by helping to receive deliveries and store food items appropriately.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with catering settings will be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is required; culinary experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
