Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Kids Coding Teachers to lead engaging after-school sessions at local schools. You will deliver our ready-made curriculum, guide students through fun coding projects, and foster a positive learning environment that builds confidence and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, structured coding sessions to groups of children aged 8–12.
- Set up and pack away equipment before and after each session.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Provide encouragement, feedback, and support to young learners with varying skill levels.
- Communicate regularly with the i2Tech Academy team about student progress and class updates.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are always followed.
Requirements
- Passion for working with children and making learning fun.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Basic knowledge of block-based coding platforms.
- Experience working with children in schools, clubs, or other educational settings.
- Reliable transport to get to different school locations.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience teaching coding, computing, or robotics.
- Understanding of gamified platforms or educational technology tools.
- DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
