We are excited to offer an entry-level opportunity for a Junior Logistics Administrator to join our logistics team. This role is ideal for someone starting their career or looking to transition into logistics and administration. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, so no prior logistics experience is required—just a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of client orders and requests
- Process sales orders received via email, phone, and EDI systems
- Monitor and respond to emails within agreed timeframes
- Ensuring our operating system is regularly updated with tracking information from couriers, including details of air and sea freight shipments.
- Support the sales team with up-to-date delivery information
- Enter new orders into the system, allocate to the appropriate warehouse, and generate the necessary shipping documentation
- Help maintain and update customer profiles, including delivery instructions, addresses, SKUs, and packing specifications
- Assist in investigating order queries or delivery issues and communicate findings
- Support with the administration of inbound and outbound stock data
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics team
What We’re Looking For:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles.
- Ability to interpret and process customer purchase order documents.
- Good communication skills
- Organised and able to manage time effectively
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- No prior logistics experience required – full training provided
- Any prior experience with logistics, supply chain, or systems like Sage Intacct is a plus but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
