Job Summary:
Due to significant growth, Risdons Solicitors are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to support our IT department in ensuring the smooth operation of daily technology-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, troubleshooting techniques and excellent communications skills to assist users with hardware, software and network issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to employees (hardware, software, network issues).
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup and access control.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems; diagnose and solve hardware or software faults.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets, hardware, and software licenses.
- Support in data backups, antivirus management, and regular system updates.
- Assist with maintaining documentation for IT procedures and user guides.
- Collaborate with IT team on larger projects and rollouts.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365
- Familiarity with hardware components and common troubleshooting practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Working Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional travel to other locations for support.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
