The Role
We are seeking an intellectually curious and detail-oriented Investment Intern to join our London team. This person will work directly with members of our deal team to build out our acquisition pipeline. This internship is ideal for individuals in the final years of their university studies or recent graduates who have relevant experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or banking. Experience working in a software company is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential software opportunities across our target investment themes- Map and analyse software market segments to inform our thesis-driven sourcing
- Conduct financial modelling, market research, competitor benchmarking, and valuation work for target companies
- Support deep-dive market research and intelligence
- Assist in preparation of investment memos, board materials, and IC presentations
- Assist in commercial, technical, and financial diligence due diligence process
- Coordinate with advisors and internal teams to structure transactions
- Prepare and consolidate due diligence findings and reports to support the investment team in decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field- Prior internships in investment banking, PE/VC, management consulting, or software companies
- Strong aptitude for financial modeling, market analysis, and synthesizing complex data; analytical mindset and natural problem-solver.
- Clear and structured communicator with strong written and verbal skills; highly organized and detail-oriented; comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and enjoys diving deep into software categories; proactive team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
