Here at 512, we are currently looking to grow our amazing team of International Freight Forwarders. We have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity where full training will be given to understand all aspects of freight forwarding.
We would like to invite candidates with or without experience to apply for this role, however we do ask that all candidates are computer/tech savvy and are competent in software such as Microsoft Office. Candidates with limited or no experience will be provided with training, so do not let this put you off.
Responsibilities
- Working within a growing team of likeminded forwarders who engage in quoting and organising import/export Air, Road & Sea freight shipments.
- Conducting customs formalities for all modes of transport, import and export.
- Quote, arrange and plan movements via Air, Road & Sea
- Communicating with overseas partners and form good working relationships to increase opportunities.
- Consulting with customers regarding new and ongoing jobs
- Delivering outstanding customer service.
- Contribute to growing existing business and look for new opportunities.
- Managing FTL, LTL, FCL, LCL and groupage shipments.
- Delivering excellent customer service to new & existing clients
- Any associated administration duties as and when required

The apprenticeship
- L3 International Freight Forwarding - Air pathway
- Duration - up to 21 months, including End Point Assessment
- All training delivered on site at the employers location
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
