Job Title: Internal Sales Consultant
Location: Stockton
Due to continued investment and expansion, we are delighted to announce a NEW and exciting role working as an Internal Sales Consultant working in our regional contracts office. This role is extremely sales focused and will involve building relationships with key customer accounts, our branch network, and key suppliers.
The main duties for this role include:
- Selling across the full branch stock range.
- Co-ordinating and developing your sales ledger in conjunction with the company’s Associate Director Sales.
- Generating leads, establishing new accounts, and developing existing customer relationships
- Working closely with the Contracts manager to ensure department sales and margin targets are achieved
- Developing relationship with the branch network to ensure optimum service levels for our customers
- Monitoring results and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and encouraging back-selling by suppliers on our behalf.
- Identifying and developing key accounts.
- Maintaining customer service to the highest possible standard.
- Keeping abreast of new products and developments
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in the builders merchant industry, or similar
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organisation skills
- Experience of working in a fast pace environment and being reactive to offering the best service
- A proactive approach to selling and developing sales and margin
- Proven experience from a sales environment with knowledge of the full range of products.
- A keen interest in developing their career with the company.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.00am to 5.00pm
