What does it mean to be a Howarth Timber Internal Sales Co-ordinator (First Fix/Second Fix)?
As Internal Sales Co-ordinator for our First Fix/Second Fix operation at Bury St Edmunds, you will be responsible for managing customer call-offs, processing orders and maintaining our sales records/updating material schedules accordingly.
Internal Sales Co-ordinator Role Responsibility
- Close collaboration with Site Managers, suppliers, branch staff and transport.
- Forge and maintain strong working relationships with all key accounts (customers and suppliers) and manage their expectations around product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
What are the requirements to become part of our team?
- Experience of working within a timber and builder’s merchant and extensive knowledge of building and timber-related products
- Experience in sales-driven environments
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- The ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Be fully computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office and order processing
- An ability to analyse problems, find solutions and implement them
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team, along with a flexible attitude
- Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday inclusive, plus alternate Saturday mornings (0800-1200).
