Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Installs to lead our installation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing installations for solar and air source heat pump projects. This role involves coordinating installations, ordering materials, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising the installation of air source heat pumps and solar PV systems.
- Managing all associated paperwork, including MCS documentation, DNO applications, and low-temperature heating designs.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM systems.
- Supporting and managing on-site general handy persons, offering technical advice and guidance as needed.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, explaining projects clearly and answering any questions they may have.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with renewable energy installations, especially air source heat pumps and solar panels.
- A solid understanding of MCS documentation, DNO processes, and low-temperature system design.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with customers and the team.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage project information.
- Leadership skills to guide on-site personnel and ensure quality and safety.
