Job Title: Injection Mould Toolmaker

Salary: Competitive, with Time and a Half Overtime Pay
Schedule: 4-day work week (39-hour basic) + consistent overtime availability
We are currently working with a leading precision engineering company that specialises in injection moulding and die casting solutions. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Mould Toolmaker to join their on-site team in Huddersfield.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly technical team, supporting the assembly, maintenance, and repair of complex injection mould tooling components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a toolroom environment and the ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and repair injection moulds and tooling components
- Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Operate a range of manual and CNC machinery, including milling and EDM equipment
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure tooling standards
- Collaborate with the wider technical team to meet project deadlines
- Maintain high standards of precision and workmanship across all tasks
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in the assembly and repair of injection mould tools
- Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery
- Solid quality control and inspection skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
- Toolmaking experience is essential
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
