Have a polite and courteous telephone manner and accurately record enquiries to be passed to colleagues. Maintain written and electronic records on IP&C databases, charts and alert boards as directed. Use the PAS and other computer systems e.g. ICNet, ICE as required.
Prepare and distribute as appropriate information for notice boards. Ensure any noticeboards that IP&C have responsibility for has up to date information. Develop and maintain good working relationships with all trust staff and /organisations that work closely with IP&C. Report accidents, near misses or difficulties complying with the IP&C guidelines/policies using the Trust incident reporting system.
Assist in investigating incidents that have been reported via the Trust incident reporting system. Please refer to the Job Description for the full specification of responsibilities and requirements for this post.
