Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sewing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and possess strong sewing abilities. This role involves working with various fabrics and materials to create high-quality products while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines and equipment to stitch, hem, and assemble fabric items.
- Follow patterns and specifications to ensure accurate production of items.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in sewing, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with various sewing techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
