We are looking for a motivated and creative Individual Giving Officer to lead on legacy, in-memory, and appeal campaigns, support membership and high-value giving, and oversee our trading activity. This varied role is key to growing support for Cornwall’s wildlife and building lasting connections with those who care about the natural world.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about connecting people with nature and inspiring long-term support for wildlife? We’re looking for a dedicated and creative Individual Giving Officer to drive Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s fundraising efforts and support our vision for a Cornwall where nature thrives.

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work closely with the Public Fundraising Manager to lead on the development, management, and delivery of key Individual Giving programmes - including Appeals, Legacy, and In-Memory Giving - to grow income and deepen supporter engagement. You’ll also support the delivery of Membership and High Value Giving activity, helping to strengthen our supporter base and foster lasting relationships. In addition, you’ll oversee our Trading operations and contribute to the success of the wider Public Fundraising and Fundraising & Communications teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, imaginative, and eager to turn a love of wildlife into real, lasting impact for Cornwall’s environment. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

While direct fundraising experience is desirable, we welcome candidates with strong marketing expertise who can translate storytelling, audience engagement, and relationship-building into meaningful donor support.

Benefits:

  • Cornwall Wildlife Trust operates excellent toil and flexible working policies
  • Enhanced company holiday entitlement – starting at 25 days plus bank holidays and rising to a maximum 30 days over a period of time (1 day extra for each year worked after 4 complete years served)
  • 3 days Christmas Business Closure for 2025
  • All employees have access to the Employee Assistance Programme (24/7 counselling service) and Employee health and wellbeing portal
  • Free onsite parking at Five Acres
  • Stakeholder pension scheme (subject to eligibility)

To Apply:

Please send your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability to [email protected] by Midnight on Monday 11 August 2025

Interviews will be held on Thursday 21 August 2025 at our Headquarters in Allet.

Together, we can create a wilder Cornwall where nature and people thrive.
